I had seen a picture earlier this week of Joss with a tattoo, but was unable to confirm if it was real. Thanks to http://inkedtalk.com/. I was able to get confirmation that the tattoo is real.
The tattoo is of a flower and it is behind her left ear. I will let you know if I can find out the significance of the tattoo

Joss has teamed up with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to create a Public Service Announcement. The ad features Joss with a Chicken and says “I’m a singer, songwriter, a performer, and a human being accepting of all sizes, shapes, colors, and species.” “I’m Joss Stone and I’m a Vegetarian”. Joss who has been a vegetarian her entire life, was named world’s sexist vegetarian in 2005 by a Peta Poll.
In an interview with Peta, she stated ” I was born a vegetarian. I wanted to do the shoot because I feel there is no need to cause another living thing pain or harm. There are so many other things we can eat. I have never eaten meat in my life, and I’m 5 foot 10 and not exactly wasting away.”

Joss is performing at the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular in New York City tomorrow night. You can watch the show on NBC live at 9pm EST. Look for a review of her performance later this week.

Joss recently did an interview and photo spread with Complex Magazine in which she discussed her feud with Christina Milan and Dallas Austin.
Regarding her tiff with Christina Milan
“I’m a very honest girl. Lies fucking piss me off. Sometimes I say things in the heat of the moment. So I said something bad about Christina Milian. I said it, and I meant it. Then I realized down the line that it wasn’t true. The person who told me is a complete wanker. ”
She goes on to say ” did feel bad, so I called Christina to say sorry, and she was so sweet about forgiving me. She understood. Sometimes, I get a little too
honest about how I feel. If I’m wrong, I’m the first to say I’m wrong. I deserve a punch for it, to be honest. ”
Regarding Dallas Austin and his comments regarding Joss using her body to get her records produced
“I don’t know him. I seriously don’t even know what he looks like. Maybe I’ll go see him when I go to Atlanta. We’ll have
a cup of tea. Bless him. Seriously. People like that need prayer. Bless his poor little soul.”
Joss performed two songs at The Concert For Diana held at Wembley Stadium on July 1, 2007 in London.
She sang two songs. “You had me” from and a re-make of “Underpressure” by Queen. ( Joss was originally scheduled to perform this song with Brian May from Queen, but he declined at the last minute because he didn’t like the set up for the concert and wanted to work on his phd. )

As you can see she performed barefoot. Her dress was long and flowy and at first glance looked tie-dyed.

Joss came back later in a shorter kimono-like dress to sing “Aint That A Lot Of Love” with Tom Jones. Jones had mentioned in a 2004 interview with Sunday Mirror, Jones was asked who he want to do a duet with “Probably Joss Stone, the teenage soul singer. She’s great. I met her the other day on a VH1 show. She’s very natural and has a powerful instinct for R&B. ”
