At the VMA’s, Joss talked to Ross the intern, from NBC. Ross was doing a poll for Sodahead.com. Asking who’s album would be better Kanye’s or 50’s. Joss picked 50.

Joss is scheduled to perform at the United Negro College Fund Evening of Stars To be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sept. 22. The gala will be taped and broadcast in January.

Some of the stars scheduled to perform are Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Yolanda Adams, John Legend, Joss Stone and Chris Issak.

Presenters include Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, Condoleezza Rice, Hill Harper, Berry Gordy, Tom Joyner and Billy Dee Williams.

Elton John, Joss Stone, Neil Young and many others - have put together a tribute CD to be released next month to pay for its reconstruction and others in the Lower Ninth.

Joss Stone, the Byrds’ Roger McGuinn, Shawn Colvin and Aimee Mann will be on hand Oct. 10 at New York’s Carnegie Hall for a tribute to Elton John. The event is being produced by Michael Dorf, who in recent years has crafted similar events in honor of Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan.
